One of my personal favorites was Le Chateaubriand – a stunning 9-11 course meal for just 80 euros. And if you’re a cheese lover, you simply can’t miss Chez Michel and their legendary cheese board.
But no matter where you end up, be sure to make a pit stop at the Bastille Market on Sundays and Thursdays. This bustling open-air market is the perfect place to pick up some fresh produce, charcuterie, and, of course, a baguette or two for your next picnic in the park.
Exploring Paris’ Cultural Gems
Of course, no trip to Paris would be complete without immersing yourself in the city’s rich cultural heritage. And thanks to the fact that most national museums are free for EU students, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to do just that.
Start your cultural journey at the Rodin Museum, where you can wander through the stunning gardens and marvel at the master’s timeless sculptures. From there, make your way to the iconic Musée d’Orsay, housed in a former train station, and the world-famous Louvre.
But if you’re craving something a little more off-the-beaten-path, I’d highly recommend checking out the Jeu de Paume – a stunning gallery dedicated to photography and multimedia art. And if you’re willing to splurge a bit, the Louis Vuitton Foundation is an absolute must-see, with its breathtaking architecture and world-class exhibitions.
And when you need a break from all that cultural immersion, be sure to explore some of Paris’ most beautiful green spaces. Buttes Chaumont Park is a personal favorite, with its dramatic cliffs, lush gardens, and stunning views of the city. Or if you’re in the mood for something a little more serene, head to the Bois de Vincennes and rent a pedal boat for an unforgettable afternoon on the water.
Finding the Perfect Soundtrack to Your Parisian Adventure
